After the briefest of discussions, Keith of the Keith Appreciation Society agreed to come and donate a guitar riff or four to a track. It may have been the offer of vodka that swayed that decision.

None the less, you can find the resulting aural feast on the Listen page above, or here for the lazy.

In addition, for those of you that would rather stream than download, you can do so to your heart’s content over at our shiny new Soundcloud page.

It’s nice to have options.

Today my good friend Keith of the aptly named Keith Appreciation Society popped round to contribute a guitar track or two and mark the beginnings of… something. Not quite sure what yet, but its existence as something can’t be denied. Not unless you’re Descartes anyway.

Before any of that started, I managed to descend back into poverty as the nice recording software I was using decided to err.. expire. When I told the guy in the shop that this purchase would result in me not eating for a week, he replied:

“hey, just eat the packaging man.”

It may yet come to that.

After a year and a half in the musical wilderness, I’ve managed to get over the deep-rooted lovehate relationship I had developed with my guitar to come up with this latest endeavour.

It’ll involve mandolins, glockenspiels and other wonderful things, and is thanks in no small part to the influence of Mr. Toby Hayes of ‘Shoes and Socks Off’ – pictured above enjoying a jacuzzi next to my bespectacled self.

Have a listen to ‘smoke and rabbits’ here, and check back to see what might unfold.
